The depolarization splitting cube is made of two right angle prisms of the same size glued together. One of the right angle prisms is coated with depolarization splitting film. The splitting film can be metal or all dielectric. The components of p-light and s-light in the reffected or transmitted light obtained by depolarization splitting cube are nearly the same, which is especially suitable for polarization sensitive receivers in some applications.
