CRYLINK quartz air gap zero half wave plate is composed of two quartz wave plates with a spacer in the middle. The fast axes of the two quartz wave plates are perpendicular to each other, and the phase difference between them is π. The wave plate is pre-installed in the black anodized aluminum ring for easy installation and use. One half wave plate is often used to rotate the polarization direction of linearly polarized light. Compared with the glued quartz crystal zero order wave plate, the air gap is formed between the two quartz wave plates in the air gap zero order wave plate.
